Don’t Be Afraid of Steep Hills | Read This To Triumph It

Through reading this short article, you will the confident to face steep hills on the front and avoid fearing that you might accidently, hit somebody who will then, be mad at you. This article is brought to you by SLM Driving School in Manor Park.

Most of the people who find trouble passing over a steep hill is because they are afraid that there car will start reversing itself and then, they panic which makes the car, uncontrollable.
The key to controlling your vehicle is the HANDBRAKE. Yes, the handle break that you see in the middle of two front seats, is not only used for parking. It can also be used to prevent your car from going back. Because, let’s face it: car manufacturers knew that you don’t have three legs so that is why this secondary break is known as the handbrake. Here is what you should do:
  1. Confront the steep hill on a time when there is nobody around. Step up your vehicle on the steep and then stop your vehicle. Once you stop, gently pull the safety lever aka ‘handbrake’ and let go.
  2. Now, to avoid automatic reserve of the vehicle; start you vehicle and move the car as you normally would. In this case, the only thing that you need to do is, sync up with the handbrake and clutch.
  3. As you gently lose the handbrake, you should press the clutch accordingly while keeping the acceleration at a pace in which the engine does not shut down. Once, that is done, you will be able to overcome the steep hill in no time.

That’s it! However; you should notice that this practice can take time to become a muscle move and into perfection. I thank SLM Driving School that sponsored this article. Check them out, they provide incredible Driving Lessons in Manor Park.
